In my opinion Domin8 is a failing company. They have been unable to bring their outdated systems up to date with the needs of the modern management company, despite buying other companies to steal their solutions. Ultimately they can’t manage to integrate any of them and waste a lot of time and money – ceasing to support any of them to a degree of usefulness. Although they will sell you them and take your money. Once a company starts throwing money at trying to buy solutions, its a good indication it is a company in trouble, and at the very least a poorly managed company.

after 2 months of research…we may go with rent manager. we reviewed MRI, rent manager, maxwell-colonial, spectra, yardi and onsite. mri wanted minimum of $20k. onsite is by far the cheapest but you get little to no support. yardi wasn’t impressive. spectra was nice but twice the price of rent manager (web-based). maxwell good but no web-based version. heard good things about rent manager. they seem to be very responsive and helpful.

I am curious to know any software that will track weekly rants. I purchased the Quicken software buy was disappointed to see that it will not do weekly rentals. I am also disappointed with the Quicken software as I bought it after my tenants had been living in my apartment and paying rent. There is no way to retro the rent backwards… if I enter the past few months rent (even selecting the proper dates) it then tells me I should not expect rent again from them for many months! I can’t enter in partial payments and I have tenant who is currently behind and I entered the information and it shows him as current… even though I entered his move in date as months ago and have not entered any payments.
