How to read a mortgage rate sheet – Be on the lookout…

Hey! I know its been a little while since my last post here… its for a good reason. The company that I am VP for (Settlement Professionals Inc.), is launching several big programs and products in the next 30 days and I am busting my a$$ trying to get this stuff done.

In case you don’t know, SPI has several divisions. I am in charge of the capital gains tax deferral division and education products division. We’re launching new programs and products in both divisions and I’m doubly busy.

Anyhow, I wanted to let you know about this two part video tutorial I’m working on that shows you how to read a mortgage rate sheet. I used to work in the lending industry and have a read a few rate sheets in my time.

This video is about 14 minutes long (broken up into two parts), and goes over the three main parts of the rate sheet and how to calculate the rate after price adjustments.

The video is a must for anyone who doesn’t know how to read a rate sheet. Just by knowing how to read a rate sheet you can possibly save yourself some big bucks and make sure the lender isn’t gouging you.

Anyhow, be on the lookout for the first video. It’ll be out in the next 24 hours or so.

Also… if there is anything that you aren’t sure how to do (i.e.- write a purchase and sales contract, write an offer, etc.) shoot me an email @ trevor[at]thereibrain[dot]com and I’ll see about working up a video tutorial for you!

I’ll talk to you soon and get that video up for you.
