Self Improvement Tip of the Week: A two thousand year old proverb…
Do this for me for a sec…
Close your eyes and picture the world as it was 2,000 years ago. What does it look like?
How was the world different back then… and how much has the world changed since then?
It’s like it’s a different world, huh?
Well, there is one thing that I learned from an ancient proverb that shows just how simple life is even with all of the “complications” of today’s world.
Yes, even with our cell phones, all of this money, new technologies emerging everyday… when you break it down to the essence of living… of human life… of success, whatever success is to you… NOTHING HAS CHANGED AT ALL.
An ancient proverb reflects the whole theme of the last few “Self Improvement Tips of the Week”.
” All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty“ Proverbs 14:23
Even 2,000 years ago… before the world was complicated and the abundance of information paralyzed people into never taking action… people still had an extremely difficult time actually GETTING GOING AND TAKING ACTION!
