Just like with anything, there is more than one element that goes into making it a success. 

For instance, with sports… the elements that make a successful athlete include:

• Practice
• Natural ability
• Mental mindset

With lets say… cooking… a successful cook is often made by elements that include:

• Palette sensitive to taste
• Practice
• Systems set up that enable the food to be reproduced

Well, investing in real estate is no different.

To me, there are three elements that make a successful real estate investor.  If you have read any of the articles on our site at all… you probably already know what those elements are. 

If not, here they are again:

1. Life success (mental mindset, clarity, goal oriented)
2. Business success (systems, organization, accountability)
3. Real estate success (techniques, strategies, “how to”)

Without all three of these elements firmly in place in your real estate investing activities… you are guaranteeing yourself to never find true success in your real estate investing.

Without the Life Success element, you are doomed to get burnt out on investing and never reach your true goals…

Without the Business Success element you are doomed to work yourself to death, live a life of disorganization, and be a slave to your real estate investing activities…

Without the Real Estate Success elementyou are taking the long route to your goals and not setting yourself a solid educational foudation for success.  It’s kind of like building a kit airplane without the instructions.

You know how deeply we believe in this thought process for true success in real estate investing.  Over the last 5 years far too many “real estate investors” have jumped in head first into real estate investing with little more than a dream and a bootcamp under their belts. 

What have 99% of these people done?  FAILED MISERABLY.

The overwhelming reason why most of these people have failed in their real estate investing endeavors is not because:

• They didn’t know enough about the techniques of real estate investing
• They didn’t have a dream
• They didn’t have a desire to make it happen
• They didn’t try
• They didn’t invest money

The reason most of these “real estate investors” failed is because they didn’t focus on big ol’ #2… the business success element of their real estate investing venture.

All of the drive, determination, and real estate investing technique knowledge in the world doesn’t make a difference in your real estate investing success unless you put some time in focusing on creating a solid business foundation.
