Postlets – Mass Classified Ad Posting Service For Real Estate Investors
Okay, I may be a bit late in the game here… but I just found out about Postlets .
I know… I know… it’s been around for a while and a ton of other websites have talked about them.
But…
I guess I was just too darn busy and never came across it until a couple days ago (or I came across it and it didn’t stick in my brain as very useful for some reason… which is completely wrong!).
What Is Postlets?
Here it is. Postlets is essentially a mass posting tool for people to make one classified ad posting for real estate… and to easily post that ad on multiple high profile real estate related websites all in one whack.
The Postlets guys say it’s "Real Estate Marketing for Web 2.0 ".
Here’s a quick list of the sites Postlets blasts your real estate classified ad out to:

backpage.com |

craigslist |

DotHomes |

Google Base |

HotPads |

Properazzi |

Trulia |

Zillow |
How Does It Work?
As I am typing this I’m creating a "Postlit" right now… so I’m learning a bit more about what it does (pretty self-explanatory… but the best way to really learn about something is to DO IT… not just read about it. ).
Here’s what they say are the directions:
CREATE A POSTLET IN SIX EASY STEPS
![]()
| Set up a FREE account | |
| Choose your listing category | |
| Enter your listing information using easy-to-use forms | |
| Upload your photos | |
| Paste generated code into classifieds sites, blogs, your website | |
| We automatically send your listing to several search engines |
Basically, the process is pretty darn easy. You figure out what category you want to post in, create your ad, include pictures if you want… then the "magic happens".
Basically, after you get done creating your ad . You get a little bit of code that you can then go and post on each of the real estate classified ad sites that is pretty darn nice looking… and points back to your special page on the Postlet website.
What’s My Take On Postlets?
Overall, I really like the Postlets service as far as the quality of the listings and how cool that little code works that they give you.
But, what I don’t like is that it doesn’t automatically post the classifieds for you… kind of like Tubemogul.com does for videos… but for real estate classifieds. Maybe I’m missing something here… but I don’t think I found a place where you can actually have your ad blasted out at the push of a button.
I do like Postlets and it can be very useful for real estate investors to market their properties to many social media sites with ease.
The only thing you can do to see if it’s right for you is to go try Postlets out for free (they do have a paid version that has more features… but the free version has plenty of features to make it worth it).
Report back what you think about Postlets .

Hey, my name is Trevor and I'm the founder of The REI Brain and a real estate investor since the age of 21. Right now, my focus in real estate investing is multi-family income properties and I have plans on moving more into the commercial real estate investment world in 2008 and beyond.

Trevor,
Our site FillMyProperty.com automatically posts to the same locations as postlets. As well as CraigsList and Backpage. Some of this is via feeds in the same way postlets feeds your property and some of it our own internal system and staff manage the postings.
Right now we focus on rentals, rent to own, and owner financing properties and our site is a great tool for real estate agents and individual investors.
FillMyProperty.com
This may or may not work for you. But if you choose good sites like AdsGlobe.com , most of the times classifieds will work for you.
Hey Debra,
Thanks for mentioning the site… I’ll check it out for sure!
