Hey Tony, thanks for the comment!

Ya, probably the best probate course on the market that I've personally seen (I have a full copy of the course in my office right now) is Ron Meads course.

Here's a link to his course: http://www.buyprobateproperty.com

His entire course is under $300... and is the best I've seen.

Good luck!

Trevor,

It's 8.18.11, any investing courses (ie probate, REO's etc) out there worth taking a look at? The market has been changing a lot since Probates by Preston came out. I'm starting my investment business this month and would really appreciate a confident 'go ahead' from someone investing in today's market. We to pick up my education TODAY! Any words of advice?

Thanks,
Tony Rench

I didn't buy his course but I've heard the red pills and I've experimented with Freedomsoft. I'm going to eventually asap implement it into my real estate business and hopefully get some subscribers to see what it's really worth. It's priceless software. Great post by the way

Trevor,

I discovered you through a reference at one of the BiggerPockets.com Forums.
Someone gave your FreedomSoft Review Video a shout-out.
I checked it out was thoroughly impressed by YOU!

Keep up your great SERVICE to The Real Estate Investors Nation!
Are you using FreedomSoft? I don't think so because you are an Apartments Investor, right?

I bought FreedomSoft. I am just starting to get into using it in earnest.
I bought it because having the ability to EMAIL my actual CONTRACT with the electronic SIGNATURE is what really motivated me almost more than all of its other fine points!

God Bless you!

Hey Craig,

Thanks for the comment!

Yep, we're still giving the $50 rebate on the Probates by Preston course. When you use the link on this page... their system tracks it as coming from our link... in about 45 days or so they pay us a commission on the sale... and we pass along a huge hunk of that commission to you to help you save some money.

Here's the steps to get the rebate:

1. Use the link on this page to buy
2. Send us your receipt after you buy to admin [at] thereibrain.com
3. Once we verify you used our link and they pay us the commission... we'll shoot you the check. Again, we usually get the check about 45-60 days after you purchase.

Hope that helps!

Look, anyone complaining about anything probably didn't take the time to know what they were getting into. Read your contracts people! And as far as getting the brush off from RealFreedomInc. There are about a bajillion ways to contact them if you want to cancel your subscription or if you have a problem and all that contact information goes back to no more than 5 people, one of which is Mr. Ely. You can even call the man's Dad if you really have a problem since his phone number is on the membership site as a reference for a financial planner.

Anyone who let something simple and small like not being able to cancel there membership needs to contact me today! I have a bridge in San Francisco to sell them that will make them rich!

Lol... thanks Zac for the insight.

Preston is a love him or hate him kind of guy... and really a lot of people really love him and his stuff... some people don't.

I bought Prestons ebook last year for $50... and really I think its a great value for the $50... and it's got enough in it for the non "infoproduct junkie" to put to action and see results... that's my opinion... but most people (probably 90%) of people who buy real estate investing education products are either junkies or on the verge of being junkies and don't implement anything they learn. When I buy a course I try to find one thing to implement... and implement the heck out of it... and that's worth the price of the course right there for me.

Anyhow, regarding the $97/month... yes, all buyers are placed into his online membership site automatically at $97/month. But to Preston's credit... it is explained pretty clearly (in my opinion) right there on the order page that you get a free 30 day membership to "prestons playground"... then it renews at $97/month. If people don't read that when they buy it's not Preston's fault... and people can cancel before the end of the 30 days and not be charged at all. If it wasn't disclosed that would be one thing... but if it's disclosed fully and people either forget about it or didn't take the time to read it... the buyer has to take some responsibility for making a well informed decision.

On your last point... totally agree... if someone doesn't refund peoples money it's probably a good idea to stay away from them. You did note that that one guys money was refunded... took a couple weeks... but was refunded... it's not a matter of not refunding $... it may be a matter that Preston may need to get another person to help with the customer support.

Anyhow, it sounds like you'd be a great candidate to get off Preston's list since you don't jive w/ his style... but I do have his courses and I feel that they're a great value for the price... simply because I look to get just one nugget out of each course that I'll implement and profit from... if anyone thinks there's not something in his Probates home study that they can implement and get their $297 back... I'd venture to say that the person should look at themselves and ask why they aren't implementing the info and why they aren't taking action... cause even the simple probate letters he's got in there... if someone just takes the time and sends out a couple hundred and follows through w/ the leads... they'll get their $297 out of it (and much more).

Anyhow... that's my take on it... but that's just me.

Thanks for the comment again! I love seeing everyones opinions... because people will get something valuable out of the opinions of both sides.

Chat soon,
