Roboform - Helping you be more efficient online…
How about that Superbowl? Great game huh?
I really could have gone either way… I don’t particularly love either team… and it would have been cool seeing either team win. On one hand the Patriots had the chance to go 19-0 which is amazing.
On the other hand it was kinda cool to see the Giants win and Ely Manning get a superbowl victory over the Patriots the year after his brother did the same thing. Either way, it was a great game.
Anyhow, as you know… this website is called The REI Brain because we go beyond just real estate investing techniques and education.
Yes, learning the actual tactics of investing in real estate is important… but what most
people forget to remember is that the tactics are just 1/3 of what it takes to be successful.
The other two elements (according to me) are having a solid life success foundation and a solid business foundation.
Part of success is knowing how to manage your time well and to be efficient. You know as well as I do that the internet can be one of the biggest time suckers on earth if you don’t manage your time well.
But… I’ve got a cool little tool to show you that will save you hours of time on the internet (at least 1-2 hours per day for me)… and it’s cheaper than a steak dinner. This tool is called Roboform.
Roboform at its basic form is a password manager. But, when you look at it more deeply… it is far more than just a password manager. This thing makes it so you only have to log into your account (actually type in the website and log in info) once EVER!
Yep, the first time you log into an account is the only time you’ll ever have to remember the log in info… including the website.
Take a look at the quick video I put together for you that shows you in action what Roboform does. I’m not kidding you one bit when I say that I save at least 1 hour a day with Roboform. I think it cost me something like $29 to buy… but I’ve saved literally probably upwards of 75-125 hours over the 6 months I’ve been using it. I value my time right now at about $95/hr (should be more sometimes… I’m working on outsourcing a bit more in 2008).
In my opinion, Roboform has saved me at least $7,125 ($95 x 75 hours). If you’re not looking at your time in this way… you’re not maximizing your effectiveness and earning potential in real estate investing and in any other type of business you are in. So, plunking down the $29 was a no brainer for me.
Anyhow, take a look at the quick video of me using Roboform.

Pretty cool stuff huh?
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that Roboform is completely secure. In order to have access to your passwords, Roboform makes you type in your “master password” if the computer has been inactive for so many minutes (I think something like 30 minutes)… and if the computer is restarted. This protects from someone getting a hold of your computer and having access to your saved passwords.
Also, it has built in encryption so your information can’t get accessed by creeps trying to take advantage of you. All in all… it’s an extremely safe, secure, and in my opinion easy to use software to help you be more efficient day to day.
Like I said, if you have more than 5 log ins… it should be a no brainer to get Roboform so you can be more efficient online and use the time you save to build your real estate investing business. You’re not making a dime when you are busy logging into websites or filling in opt in or purchase forms… so why waste time doing that stuff?
This is one way to further systematize your life. I know I always preach about systematizing your real estate investing business (or any business for that matter), but it’s the truth.
No system = No growth
No growth = Extreme boredome and income stagnation
As I mentioned in the video… I’m pretty sure they have a 30 day free trial of Roboform over there. You can either head over to their site to download the free 30 day trial… or here’s the link to download it directly from my site.

Anyhow, I hope this little tool and tip save you a ton of time online so you can get off your duff and get to action in your real estate investing business. Every minute spent on meaningless tasks such as logging in and filling in forms is a minute taken away from getting closer to your goals.
We only have so many minutes in our lives… I choose to use mine wisely… do you?
Hey, if you have other tools that you have found useful, that you would like to share with our readers… shoot them my way through our contact page. I’d love to hear what you are using that helps you stay productive in your day to day life.
