Self Improvement Tip of the Week: Are you going to be disappointed?
Are you going to be disappointed 20,30,40 years from now?
”Why what do you mean Trevor?
When you look back on your life 20 years from now…
… will you be disappointed with what you’re looking at?
Of course, right now you’ll hope that you won’t be disappointed.
>>> LET’S FACE THE COLD HARD FACTS <<<
Listen to this, and listen good. Which group will you fall into?
- 98% of ALL people in the U.S. will never reach anything more than a state of sustained mediocrity
- 2% of people will truly achieve success
Those are some pretty staggering numbers huh? Well, they’re true.
Which group will you fall into? According to the odds, out of every 100 people that are reading this article today, 98 of them will never truly reach the level of success in their lives that they want to reach.
So, what’s the difference between the two groups?
Mark Twain said it best:
”Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. Explore. Dream. Discover.” — Mark Twain
The main difference between the two groups is that the 2% of those who reach true life success are the ones who DO more things that are important to their success than WISH THEY DID those things.
Here it is.
You know, I truly don’t believe there is a “secret to success” or a “magic bullet” that will guarantee your success. THEY DON’T EXIST, no matter what the guru’s try to tell you.
However, there is a truth to success that most people simply try to ignore because it’s easier to ignore it than to face head on.
The single truth to success that I have “discovered” (I guarantee you already know it), is that you need to TAKE ACTION…. NOW…. TOMORROW…. NEXT WEEK…. NEXT MONTH…. NEXT YEAR…. FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
If you’re not taking action you’re not moving forward. If you don’t take action toward your goals EVERYDAY, I can guarantee that you will fall into the 98% of people and NEVER REACH LIFE SUCCESS.
Why are the odds so stacked against people to reach success in their lives?
Simple.
98% of people don’t want to pay their dues and work to reach their goals. The other 2% realize that success doesn’t happen by:
- thinking about doing it
- wishing they had done it
- waiting until the “right time” to start
I’ll leave you with this sobering thought that I hope will get you to put down your computer and take measurable action toward your most important goal now:
Right now the odds are stacked against you and your life success (remember, you only have one go around here on this earth) to the tune of 98 to 2.
WHAT WILL YOU DO TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE ONE OF THE TWO?
