Investors Take Foreclosure Bus Tours to Find Next Investments

Foreclosure Bus TourApparently David Dwek of Boca Real Estate Investment Club has been organizing these bus tours for the last 15 years. But while it may seem morbid that investors are searching for the next great deal amid another family’s misfortune, these savvy investors say they are doing their part to rejuvenate distressed neighborhoods and show homeowners the new potential in these homes.

Once a month Dwek organizes a bus tour of foreclosed homes in southern Florida. Interested investors pay $99 to attend the bus tour, which brings them to multiple foreclosed properties over the course of 4 hours.

At each property, Dwek shares his expertise about how he would personally renovate the property and interested investors have the opportunity to bid on the property and possibly add it to their investment portfolio.

Dwek feels strongly that anyone can become an investor but they do need $15,000 – $20,000 in savings to finance the renovations and pay the bills until it sells or rents.
