I am a real estate agent. A friend wanted to rent his house after buying one. Real estate in California is picking up, but of course only because prices have fallen so much, and interest rates are reasonable if not very good.

Thanks for the comment! Actually… over the weekend we had a slight glitch on our server that for some reason “broke” the links to most of our forms and downloads. We’re in the process of fixing that and making sure it doesn’t happen again. As far as the “quality” of the site… we’re in the middle of a revamp so some of the elements aren’t working like they should… but will be back up to snuff shortly 🙂 thanks!

when my father died in July, 2009, he was in the process of selling a property, my brother inherited the home and the pendomng sale continued with my brother as heir of the home. The trust title company and real estate broker continued the sale after all of the other heirs signed an affadavit giving up any interest in the property. We, the heirs, all signed it with a notary witnessing the signatures. I am looking for the name of that affadavit, as we live in Oregon, and the same document is needed for two other homes to keep them out of probate.

Hey Glen, thanks for the comment! Hmmm… truthfully, I’m not extremely well versed on probate and that process… so I really don’t know what that document would be called. I’ll do some research on my end and if I come up w/ it I’ll post it on the site. thanks!
